[origin: FR2770762A1] Flange (1) and ring (21) are complementary plastic moldings with central openings (12,32) admitting a delivery pipe or hose to the bag, which is fixed, e.g. by adhesive, to the facing ring (42) on the ring. The flange, fixed similarly to the cleaner body, or to an intermediate terminating box, has an upstanding skirt (4), varying in height (6,7,8), and having e.g. 4 equally spaced convex excrescences, which is designed to fit into a corresponding peripheral channel (24) running round the ring molding. At diametrically opposed points, resilient hook-over clips (19), with press-release pads (18), on the flange, engage retaining bars (35) on the ring. Opt., the pieces are held together by the skirt's snap-fitting into the channel. The user finds the correct rotational alignment during assembly by using the general shape as a guide, assisted by stiffeners (14,20) and corner upstands (13).
