[origin: DE19750210A1] The invention relates to a limit switching device (10) of a drive device for blinds or the like which is suited for driving a rotationally mounted shaft (25) with whose assistance the blinds can be moved up to an end position. The limit switching device comprises means for detecting the end position which are connected to a switching device for disconnecting the drive of the shaft (25) such that the drive is disconnected when the end position is reached. A separate actuating device is provided for activating and deactivating the means for detecting the end position. The actuating device is configured in such a way that a renewed activation of the deactivated means and a simultaneous definition of a new end position can be obtained by reversing the moving device of the shaft (25). As a result, the handling of the adjustment of the end position is simplified and the adjustment can be carried out more precisely.
