[origin: WO9831174A1] The invention concerns a method and an arrangement for the controlled generation of a traffic load in cellular mobile radio systems, in particular for GSM, PCN, DECT, TETRA and similar trunking radio systems or the like, use being made of mobile stations which are known per se and are controlled and monitored by a control computer, connections to a fixed station being established via radio channels, so generating a traffic load. According to the invention, a plurality of mobile stations which can be operated via a common bus are used. If the mobile stations do not have an interface suitable for connection to the common bus, they are each allocated a controller. The controllers then access a common bus via which they communicate with the single control computer.
