Abstract (en)

A ski binding has a support (14) for the leading end of the ski boot (11) at the ski, especially the leading end of the boot sole, from above and at the sides through a holder (39). The leading end of the boot is secured in place, and the boot heel (13) can be lifted clear. The housing of the holder, at the ski or binding, has a clamp behind the metatarsus (17), especially in or shortly in front of the arch of the foot, especially as a tensioning cable, clamping strip or clamping plate (39), etc..

Touren-, Telemark- oder Langlauf-Skibindung mit einer Stützeinrichtung (14) zur Abstützung des vorderen Abschnittes eines zugeordneten Schuhs (11) insbesondere eines vorderen Sohlenabschnitts desselben an einem Ski (10) oder dergleichen Sportgerät nach vorne, oben und zur Seite hin sowie mit einer Haltevorrichtung (24), um den Schuh in der Stützeinrichtung (14) zu halten, derart, daß der Schuhabsatz (13) frei anhebbar ist. Die Haltevorrichtung umfaßt ein im Bereich der metatarsalen Zone (17) am Ski oder der Bindung angeschlossenes, an der Vordersohle (12) des Schuhs (11) hinter der metatarsalen Zone (17) angreifendes Spannmittel, insbesondere in Form eines Spannkabels, Spannbandes oder einer Spannplatte (39). <IMAGE>
