[origin: EP0952095A2] The cellular separator is installed in a pneumatic feed system and forms part of the cellular wheel sluice. The ejection side (D) for the separated material is sealed against the pneumatic input (F). An integrated separator grille (A) separates the material from the transporting air in the cell chambers. The chamber is depressurised on the ejection side by the rotation of the cellular wheel sluice. In case of emergency, the grille can be cleaned by reversing the direction of flow through the apertures (B).
