Pyrotechnic composition, especially in the form of a highly compressed molding, contains propelling charge powder (I) as ignition and burning accelerator, which is added to the pyrotechnic composition and/or applied to the ignition area of the composition. An Independent claim is also included for the use of (I) for this purpose.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine pyrotechnische Wirkmasse, insbesondere in Form eines hochverdichteten Preßkörpers, mit Anzünd- und Abbrandbeschleuniger in Form von der Rezeptur der pyrotechnischen Wirkmasse hinzugegebenem und/oder auf die Zündfläche der pyrotechnischen Wirkmasse aufgebrachten Treibladungspulver sowie die Verwendung von Treibladungspulver als Anzünd- und Abbrandbeschleuniger für eine pyrotechnische Wirkmasse durch Hinzugeben von Treibladungspulver zu der Rezeptur der pyrotechnischen Wirkmasse und/oder durch Aufbringen von Treibladungspulver auf die Zündfläche der pyrotechnischen Wirkmasse.
