Abstract (en)
The garage includes a motor mounted in the side pillar of the door, with horizontal shaft turning a lever which acts on the door, this lever being mounted on the side, improving accessibility. The pivoting garage door (10) is operated by at least one motor and gear drive unit (30,31) rigidly mounted within one of the uprights of the door frame. The motor and gear unit form with the door an integral assembly ready to install. The motor provides a transverse driven shaft aligned with the axis of rotation (17) of the lever (16) which transmits the movement to the door. The axis of rotation of this lever is also directly coupled to a compensation device consisting of either a spring or a gas cylinder to balance the weight of the pivoting door.

La présente invention concerne une porte basculante motorisée à ressorts latéraux ou pistons à gaz, du type à déplacement circulaire, pouvant être livrée finie prête à être installée, ne nécessitant pas de travaux de maçonnerie ou d'électricité, et dont le fonctionnement est amélioré. La porte basculante (10) est caractérisée en ce que ledit au moins motoréducteur (30, 31) est monté rigidement dans au moins un montant latéral fixe (12) de manière à former avec ladite porte un ensemble fini monobloc prêt à poser, en ce qu'il est pourvu d'un arbre moteur traversant, aligné avec l'axe de rotation (17) du levier de transmission de mouvement (16) et en ce que ledit axe de rotation (17) est formé de deux parties distinctes directement couplées aux deux extrémités de l'arbre moteur au moyen d'accouplements positifs, l'une des parties étant en prise directe avec le panneau d'obturation basculant (15) et l'autre des parties étant en prise directe avec le mécanisme de compensation (20). L'accouplement positif est constitué par les extrémités dudit arbre moteur dont la section est non circulaire et par les douilles prévues à chaque extrémité des parties dudit levier de transmission de mouvement dont la section est complémentaire à celle des extrémités de l'arbre moteur.
