Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0952328A2] The crankcase consists of lower and upper parts cylinder(s), and crank cavity bounded by transverse walls. The upper part has through apertures near the crank cavity. A beaker-shaped component (14) is fitted in the part of each crank cavity in the crankcase upper part. This component covers the through apertures and has an aperture (17) in it which is open to the relevant cylinder.
