[origin: EP0952401A1] The burner consists of at least two tubes (1, 2) - a front one with a reduced air supply to produce large yellow flames, and a back one ed with sufficient air to produce small blue flames. The burners are fixed to the upper surface of a lower plate (4) and project partially above an upper plate, with their projecting portions (10, 20) having multiple outlets for a gas/air mixture. There is a gap (I) of 5 - 10 mm and preferably 7 mm between each tube and the upper plate for the passage of a secondary air flow, and the outlets in the front tube are spaced at irregular intervals.
