Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0952635A2] The connector has first connections (12) on the front, to which external leads are electrically connected, and accommodates overvoltage protection devices (18) which can be coupled to the first connectors to provide overvoltage protection for electrical circuits which are coupled to the first connectors via the leads when in use. A releasable mounting arrangement (20) enables reversible connection of the connector to a connector supporting structure (22). The connector has a mounting assembly (14) on its rear for accommodating the overvoltage protection devices.
