Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9813569A1] Guide block (1) in a gate control mechanism guiding device enabling back and forth movement of the leaf of the gate, consisting of a guide rail (4) extending over a dimensioned drag section between gate-leaf opening and closing positions, wherein the guide block (1) can be inserted into guide rail (4) to be moved lengthwise and connected to a motor-actuated driving element. Said guide block presents a connection projection (21) to accommodate an assembly element with the door leaf, defined by the track profile and penetrating a lengthwise slot (44) of the guide rail (4) outside the external contour of the cross section. The guide block (1) also comprises a sliding element (11) which is guided in the guide rail (4) and a drive element (2) presenting the connection projection (21) and able to be connected to the sliding element. In order to reduce packaging, the guide block is delimited by the external contour of the guide rail so that the sliding element (11) inserted into the guide rail (4) is conveniently dimensioned in relation to the external dimension inside the external track profile and penetrates the lengthwise slot (44) of the guide rail (4) while in this state of insertion where the drive element (2) is fixed on the sliding element (11).
