Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0953388A2] The rivet gun has an electric drive motor (2) coupled to a rivet driving device (5), with at least one rechargeable battery for providing the drive motor operating current and a circuit for regulating the current feed to the electric drive motor in dependence on the detected battery voltage in comparison to a minimum battery voltage. The circuit (45) regulating the current feed to the electric drive motor (2) may employ a microcomputer and an associated read-only memory holding the minimum battery voltage, with disconnection of the motor when the minimum battery voltage is reached, the disconnection effected at the end of a complete rivet driving operation.
