[origin: EP0953438A1] The press comprises several stamps (3) which are connected to a rotating shaft (5) via connecting rods (2,2a). The stamps have guides located in the region of cup and ball connectors which lead to the connecting rods. The guide units ensure that eccentric loads from the shaft are corrected before the upper stamps cut through to the lower stamp sections.
