Abstract (en)

Production of particles of meltable propellant, explosive and oxidizer, especially ammonium dinitramide (ADN) comprises melting the material (I); emulsifying the melt in a matrix liquid (II), in which (I) is insoluble or hardly soluble; and cooling the emulsion below the melting point of (I), so that the dispersed drops recrystallize to solid particles.

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung sphärischer Partikeln schmelzfähiger, feuchtigkeitsempfindlicher Treibund Explosivstoffe oder Oxidatoren, insbesondere Ammoniumdinitramid (ADN), vorgeschlagen. Dabei wird der kristalline Ausgangsstoff geschmolzen und in einer Matrixflüssigkeit, in welcher der Stoff nicht oder nur schwer löslich ist, emulgiert. Zur Kristallisation der dispersen Tropfen zu festen Partikeln wird die Emulsion unter den Schmelzpunkt abgekühlt und das in Kugelform ausfallende Kristallisat von der Matrixflüssigkeit abgetrennt.
