An electric motor drives a wheel (20) to control external locking and unlocking. The wheel has spigots (20a,20b,20c) which engage with external opening levers (38,40) through forks and also with the interior opening cable mechanism (22,24). The external opening lever (38) and an interior opening rod (29) which may be engaged or disengaged with the catch (5,13) according to the wheel (20) position and/or a child protection mechanism (31)
