[origin: EP0953768A1] The drive mechanism comprises two or more intermeshing gearwheels (10,12), which mesh with a two-flank contact. The gearwheels have on their non torque-transferring flanks (30,32), a grooved recess for hydraulically coupling two successive toothed chambers (26), which can be set in staggered planes. The recesses have a constant cross-section in the expansion direction, while the gearwheel machine can be formed as an internal or external gearwheel machine.
