Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0953772A1] The pump has a split tube (2) through which the conveyor medium flows through a shaft bore (5) back into the pump suction chamber. The tube (2) is ventilated by a ventilation screw (9) which is mounted at the bottom of same and when opened closes the shaft bore directly or through an intermediate part. Preferred Features: The ventilation screw has a head (11) at its inner end and in the closed state can bear by a conical ring face (12) at the back on a conical seat face (13) of the bore (8) into which the screw is screwed in.
