[origin: FR2757354A1] The invention concerns a luggage piece, suitcase or the like comprising a bottom (2) and a lid (1) the edges of which (5, 6) are to be maintained in contact when said suitcase is closed. The lid (1) and the bottom (2) are mutually linked by at least three closing means (10) of which one at least is located on the front wall of the suitcase and one at least on each of the side walls. These closing means (10) are simultaneously controlled by a flexible member (16) which matches the outline of the internal walls of the suitcase and is actuated by a single overall control device.
