[origin: WO9832923A1] A process is disclosed for laying and securing rails on a concrete body by screwing. At least one steel plate (3) and at least one electrically insulating layer (4) are laid between the rail foot and the concrete body. The lateral guiding forces of the rails and of the steel plate joined thereto are absorbed by a practically vertical outer edge of the concrete body and the support for the rail fastening system is flat. A plastic layer (6) is inserted between the steel plate and the lateral vertical edge. The thickness of the plastic layer is such that it enables the rails to be accurately adjusted.
