Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9830853A1] A retaining element comprises an elongate body (1) in which an axial cavity (5) is present and which merges into a fastening member (2) under which a suitable lining is to be received. A number of perforations (7) providing access to the cavity (5) are provided in transverse direction in the body (1). The retaining element is inserted through the lining (13) into the substrate (12). Then a viscous compound (14) is injected in excess quantity into the cavity (5) so that this compound flows out sideways into the substrate (12) through the perforations (7). After this has been subjected to a process step for curing the injected compound fully to hardness, the resulting cast (15) thereof ensures an adequate anchoring in the substrate (12) which will provide a reliable adhesion for a long period of time.
