[origin: WO9833235A1] The inventive connecting device enables two different, adjacent lying, non-bared conductors (3) to be connected while requiring little bed width. This is achieved by a cutting element (6) comprising several contact blades (7) of different heights interacting with a lever (4), whose thrust member (8) presses upon the inserted conductors (3) until the conductor wires come into contact with the contact blades (7).
