Abstract (en)
The safety helmet has a pumpable coolant with a higher specific thermal capacity than that of air that is pumped through at least one cooling tube laid close to the helmet's inner cushioning so that the heat within the helmet is carried away by the coolant. A cooling machine (20), helmet connecting unit (40), liquefier (30), air guide (34) and mountings (31) can be prefabricated as a single unit.

Der Sicherheitshelm mit Kühlanlage besteht aus einem Sicherheitshelm (10), der eine Helmpolsterung mit Kühlrohren enthält, an der Verbindungsleitungen (43,44,45) zu einer Kältemaschine (20) angeschlossen werden können. Von der Kältemaschine (20) wird ein hier gekühltes Kühlmedium in den Helm gepumt, wo es Wärme aufnimmt und wiederum in die Kältemaschine abführt. Die Kältemaschine kann am Fahrzeug installiert werden und von der elektrischen Anlage des Fahrzeugs oder von einer externen Energieversorgung gespeist werden. <IMAGE>
