Bei einer Vorrichtung zum Zerkleinern von Gegenständen, insbesondere Biomüll, Altholz, Kunststoffe od. dgl. mit einem Einlass (2) und einem Auslass (8) und zumindest einem in einem Gehäuse (1) gelagerten Rotorelement (5) welches angetrieben oder antreibbar auf einer Welle (6) gelagert ist, wobei dem Rotorelement (5) eine Mehrzahl von Werkzeugelementen (7), insbesondere Schneidelementen zugeordnet ist, ist zumindest eine Gegenschneide (11.1 bis 11.3) nahe des Werkzeugelementes (7) in etwa achsparallel zur Welle (6) vorgesehen. <IMAGE>
