[origin: EP0955137A2] The holder for the cut slices (3) has at least one stand surface (19) on which the cut slices can be moved away from the cutting machine. The stand surface includes an angle with the feed direction of the material (loaf) so that a wedge gap for the drive arm (11) of the cutter is formed between the cut slices and the cut face of the material.
