[origin: EP0955498A1] The steam generator has a cylindrical outer shell (2), a coaxial inner shell (4) containing a core of heat exchange tubes, and an annular gap (9), containing a toroid collector (12), for the circulation of feed water. The collector has an upper wall pierced by a series of holes (18) and a guide (14) in the form of an envelope surrounding the collector. This forms a water flow space with radial partitions (19a) between the collector and guide.
