Abstract (en)
The plates (10) overlap each other in the manner of tiles. For flat connection, the plate in the fabric itself overlaps at least two adjacent plates and is overlapped by at least two further adjacent plates. Each hole (10a) in the plates is diametrically opposite to a connecting arm (10b) on the other side of the plate. The plates have an even number of sides (10c,10f), whereby the sides which have at least one hole are next to each other and the sides (10e,10f) on which at least one connecting component (10b) is formed are likewise next to each other.

Ein Gewebe, das insbesondere als Stichschutzgewebe, aber auch als Schmuckgewebe eingesetzt werden kann, besteht aus einer Vielzahl von miteinander verbundenen Schuppen (10), die zur Verbindung untereinander Bohrungen (10a) aufweisen, in die Verbindungselemente (10b) eintauchen. Die Verbindungselemente (10b) sind unmittelbar an den Schuppen (10) angeformt sind. Dadurch, daß die Schuppen sich ziegeldachartig überlappen und daß zur flächigen Verbindung die Schuppe selbst im Gewebe wenigstens zwei benachbarte Schuppen (14) überlappt und von wenigstens zwei weiteren benachbarten Schuppen (11) überlappt ist, kann auf günstige Weise das Gewebe auch erhöhten Sicherheitsanforderungen gerecht werden. <IMAGE>
