[origin: WO9832569A1] The invention relates to a screwdriver unit (1) for screwdriver inserts (11) with an attachment area (12) and a functional area (13), which offers improved, possibly automated, handling of the screwdriver inserts (11), has an expandable application spectrum and can be manufactured economically and with simple means. To this end, the invention provides for a screwdriver unit (1) comprising an insert (7) for holding at least one screwdriver insert (11), whereby said insert (7) can be mounted in a case (6) having at least one lid element (4) with at least one opening (20) and one recess (21) for receiving a screwdriver insert (11). Said screwdriver insert (11) can be positioned in the recess (21) by sliding it from the inside of the case out of the insert (7) and through the at least one opening (20) in the lid element (4).
