Abstract (en)

Tool consists of a form-stable flat plate (1) with individual geometrical bodies (2), such as rollers or balls, of the same or different sizes fastened to it within a frame (3). The bodies define the negative mold for a metal sheet to be formed, and the mold has an associated element to apply a pressure. Frame is adjustable dependent upon the size of the surface to be structured. The balls within the frame lock themselves into position and are freely moveable in vertical direction. Pressure is applied by a stamp (6) with elastomer coating (5), or by a gaseous or liquid movement.

Abstract (de)

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Werkzeug zur Herstellung strukturierter dünner Bleche mit verbesserter Formsteifigkeit. Das Werkzeug besteht aus einer formstabilen ebenen Platte (1) auf der einzelne gleichartige geometrische Körper (2) gleicher oder verschiedener Größe in geordneter Form innerhalb eines Rahmens (3) angeordnet sind, die in ihrer Gesamtheit die Negativform für ein zu verformendes Blech (4) bilden und dieser Negativform Mittel zur Druckbeaufschlagung zugeordnet sind. Als geometrische Körper (2) werden Kugeln, Rollen oder Walzen verwendet. <IMAGE>
