Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0956918A1] Dry, pasty or liquid raw materials and at least one bonding agent are converted in a mixing container by means of rapidly rotating mixing elements first into a powder mixture. The powder mixture is then converted into the intermediate product by heating as a result mechanical action of at least the mixing elements. Preferred Features: The mixture consisting of raw materials and at least one bonding agent is heated by mechanical action to a temperature below the melting point of the bonding agent, and is agglomerated. Alternatively the bonding agent is melted by mechanical action in the mixing container to produce a paste. The paste is cooled and agglomerated in the mixing container. Metal or ceramic powders are used as the raw materials for the intermediate product. At least one organic bonding agent is used.
