[origin: EP0956927A2] The socket wrench, for a screw head with a polygonal shape, has a connection at the socket head (5) to hold the whole tool (4) with the screw (1) in a release fitting to form a common unit. The screw (4) is held within the socket head (5) by elastic barb projections at its inner wall, extending into the hollow interior of the socket head, to engage in a narrowed waist at the screw body. The socket head (5) is of metal, with an inner plastics cladding or rubber lips.
