Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0956931A2] The single hole punch with pressure lever (3) has an extra target device for fixing the intended holes. This target device which can be formed by an aiming fork (6) displaceable between the two bearing blocks (2) in the functional state ends in front of or in the area of the insert gap (4) for the paper. The aiming fork is preferably made of a transparent material with two parallel arms (7) both attached to a flat member (8). The length of the arms and the length of the flat member are in a ratio of approximately 3:1. An upwardly pointing grip edge is provided at the free end of the flat member.
