[origin: EP0956936A1] The supply channels (6) for delivering hot gas or steam to the press are opened and closed using a blocking device (9) secured to the outside of the bottom part (1) of the press. A non-flowing mixture of chip and/or fiber material with heat-curable binder is delivered to a mold cavity (2) defined by a fixed bottom part, movable top part (3) and sealable cover (4).
