Abstract (en)
The drive mechanism has gears (2,3) for driving the stapling device and the gathering chain and are connected together by a replaceable connecting part (60) with at least two fixed gear ratios. The stapling device is used to staple together printed sheets transported on a gathering chain. The connecting part comprises two chains (20,21), one of which is stationary. The two fixed gear ratios are a 15 and 21 inch pitch for the gathering chain.

Eine Antriebsvorrichtung für einen Sammelhefter mit variabler Kettenteilung besitzt ein erstes Getriebe (2) zum Antrieb einer Heftvorrichtung (48) zum Heften von Druckprodukten (46), die auf einer Sammelkette (39) gefördert werden, und ein zweites Getriebe (3) zum Antrieb der Sammelkette (39), wobei die beiden Getriebe (2, 3) mit einer Wechseleinrichtung (60) mit wenigstens zwei festen Uebersetzungsverhältnissen verbunden sind. <IMAGE>
