The profiled lifting bars (13) and pulley holder bars (15) are pivot mounted on pivot links (12,14,16). Floor supports (23) are joined by pivot links (22) to the linear guides (21) which are contained in sleeves (32). Compression springs (25) press the linear guides upwards when the appliance folds up, and press the foot-plates (24) for stabilising the appliance, onto the ground by means of the rotary profiled bars (27) with the pivot links (26,28). Pivot mounted seats (29) with legs (31) and holder grips (33) form exercise segments (34) for at least six people.
