[origin: WO9733049A1] The invention relates to a construction machine which can be used as combined demolition and excavation means and has a two-part jib (4). The arm section (13) associated with a hydraulic excavator (2) remains with the associated joint and the hydraulic cylinders remains attached to the chassis (3), i.e. the hydraulic excavator, whereas the arm section (11) can be detached therefrom by disengagement of the coupling means (12) when replacement is required. The arm section (13) associated with the hydraulic excavator (2) therefore has two fork-shaped bolt holders (15, 18) which are arranged and constructed to correspond with bolts or eccentric bolts (21, 22) associated with the other arm section (11). When the arm section (13) is lifted or, conversely, when lowered, the coupling means (12) is closed or, conversely, opened. The coupling work proper is carried out by the hydraulic excavator (2) itself, thereby saving a considerable amount of time and also increasing operational reliability substantially. The hydraulic connections required can be realized quickly and safely by rapid connections.
