Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2772106A1] The invention concerns a post designed to be vertically positioned, between the floor and the ceiling, near a workstation, to provide said station with power and data from transmission systems. The post consisting of an open hollow section (1) comprises an assembly, formed by a second and third sections (2, 3) capable of sliding inside said hollow section (1), the second section (2) being designed to project outwards from the top end of the hollow section (1), the third section (3), or positioning section, being designed to be integral with said hollow section (1) by means of screws (32), a spring (4) being provided between the second and third sections (2, 3) to space said sections (2, 3) from each other, such that, after the third section (3) has been made integral with the hollow section (1), the second section (2) is pressed against the ceiling by the action of the spring (4) and maintains the post.
