[origin: EP0958847A2] The funfair ride has a series of passenger gondolas (12) attached to a rotary head at the top of a central mast via horizontal arms (1) and relatively pivoted telescopic arms (3), which can be varied inlength under control of the passenger in the gondola, e.g. via a rudder, for altering the gondola altitude, with an optical or acoustic signal provided when a travel target is reached.
