Abstract (en)

The pliers have jaws, a pivot and lever handles (3A) covered with a plastic or elastomer material. The proximal end of each handle has an asymmetrical cross-section with a curved bulge (23) projecting upwards and to one side to fit the user's palm. This section of the handle is also bean-shaped, with a slightly concave under-surface, and its curved outer surface (LG3) is extended towards the distal end of the handle by a second curve (LG2) with its convexity on the opposite side.
