[origin: EP0959002A1] A machine assembles individually pre-packed products (10) layered (14) into groups which are then packed into cartons (11). The individual packed products (10) are collected at a grouping station (23) where they form rows (13) which are then moved by a transverse pusher (28) onto a collecting plate (29). Several rows (13) are formed into a block (14) which is then lifted (33) in its assembled form and deposited in the carton (11).
