[origin: EP0959187A1] The device is for sludge, collected during sewer cleaning. It has a barrel-shaped container (2) with collection chamber (4), and solids discharge with discharge device. Longitudinal conveyors (13) on either side of the device extend over the length of the chamber, and are activated independently of the device. Each conveyor has an associated channel (12) in the base of the chamber, and the channels are connected at the ends by cross-shafts. The length of the discharge device corresponds at least to the width of the cross-connection shaft next to the solids discharge.
