Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0959216A2] One side of the cylinder is linked to the vehicle, and the other side to the tailgate. The operating chambers (8,9) are each connected by means of a reflux valve (10,11) to a pressure source (12). Each operating chamber parallel with the reflux valves are held at a set pressure level by means of a pre-tensioning valve (15,16). Between at least one operating chamber - preferably on the piston side - and the reflux valve is a separate feeder pipe (23) leading to the tank (17) and into which a reflux valve (24) fits.
