[origin: EP0959217A2] One side of the at least one double-acting hydraulic vehicle roof panel operating cylinder (3) is linked to the vehicle, and the other side to the tailgate. Each of the operating chambers parallel with the reflux valves is held by a pre-tensioning valve (15,16) held at a set pressure level. A pipe (22) leading to the tank (17) opens in at least one connecting pipe (4,5) to the operating cylinder and contains a proportional pressure valve (23).
