[origin: EP0959243A1] The control valve has a control chamber (4) coupled to the high pressure rail via a throttle (3), with the pressure in the control chamber acting on a movable jet element (6) provided with a jet needle cooperating with the fuel injection opening (7). The valve element (20) of the control valve (12) has a working face defining one side of the pressure chamber and a valve chamber (26) on the opposite side to the pressure chamber, coupled to the latter via a choke (28) incorporated in the valve element.
