Abstract (en)
The viscous fluid pump assembly has a first pump with diaphragm (22) held under tension inside a casing (11), and a piston (23) used to generate a hydraulic fluid column in the space (24) between the diaphragm and piston, which acts upon the diaphragm. This region in between the piston and diaphragm is connected via a channel (14) containing an adjustable pressure regulating valve to a storage region for the liquid. The pump (1) contains two cooperating diaphragm pumps (21, 31) with an angle of 180 degrees between the traveling directions for their pistons (23, 33). The liquid transport volume of the second pump (31) is less than for the first (21), and the space (34) between the diaphragm (32) and piston (33) in the second pump is connected to the liquid storage region (13) via the pressure regulating valve (15) in the first device. The pressure region (25) inside the first device is connected via a flow channel (26) containing a check valve (26) to the pressure region (35) inside the second device. A hose (3) leads from the pressure region inside the second pump to a tool, e.g. spray gun (2).
Abstract (de)
<IMAGE>
