Abstract (en)
The ignition coil has at least one winding set (17) mounted in a casing (19) and at least one end stage (31). The end stage is mounted in a casing part that is at least partly separated from the rest of the casing by an isolating element (27) for thermal decoupling. The isolating element may be an air gap with a bridging element (29) of a poorly thermally conducting plastics.

Eine Zündspule (11) für Zündanlagen, insbesondere als Stabzündspule in Brennkraftmaschinen ist so auszugestalten, daß sie auch unter hohen thermischen Belastungen besonders betriebssicher ist. Dazu ist die Zündspule (11) so ausgebildet, daß ein Wicklungssatz (17) als eine erste Wärmequelle der Zündspule (11) in einem Hauptteil eines Gehäuses (19) der Zündspule (11) und in einem davon durch ein Trennelement (27) abgesetzten Gehäuseteil (28) eine Endstufe (31) der Zündspule (11) als eine zweite Wärmequelle angeordnet ist. Dadurch ist die Wärmebelastung der Endstufe (31) zur Verbesserung der Betriebssicherheit der Zündspule (11) abgesenkt. Die Zündspule (11) wird vorzugsweise im Automobilbau eingesetzt. <IMAGE>
