Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0959645A2] The radiator has at least one infrared radiator with an envelope tube (1) that encloses a heating coil (3) in vacuum tight manner. The coil has an electrical connection fed out of the tube via a crushed part (13) in the end of the tube into which a molybdenum foil is melted. Several infrared radiators are connected together and arranged adjacent and parallel to each other to form a common radiation plane. The end of the sleeve with the connection is angled wrt. the radiation plane.
