[origin: FR2771915A1] The invention concerns an electrical fryer, comprising a body (1) forming a housing (3) for receiving a removable bowl (4), heating means (5) in thermal contact with the bowl (4) when the latter is set in the housing (3), heat adjusting means (6), and ultimate safety means (7) provided to compensate the breakdown of the heat adjusting means (6). The invention is characterised in that it comprises a thermal limit switch (8) mounted on a support (14) arranged in the body (1), said limit switch capable of being actuated before the ultimate safety means (7) when the bowl is not set in the housing (3).
