[origin: DE19803322A1] The container bridge consists of a twin-arm track carrier, lifting gear, a track, at least one gantry and at least two trolleys (17,18) running on their own rails (19,20) on the carrier on the container bridge. Their rail paths cross and the bogie rails are above the trolleys. Each bogie is equipped with all the devices for travelling longitudinally and vertically and for gripping. The spacing between the rails on the two sides of the trolley is less than the length of the longest container required to be transported.
