[origin: EP0960730A1] According to the present invention there is provided a heat-sensitive imaging element for providing a lithographic printing plate, comprising a lithographic support with a hydrophilic surface and a top layer wherein said top layer or a layer adjacent to said top layer comprises a compound capable of converting light into heat,characterized in that said top layer further comprises a polymer containing aryldiazosulphonate units.
