Abstract (en)
The unit is provided for the non-contact monitoring of the distance (x) of the handrail (3), from the balustrade (4). The unit consists of a sensor (11) and parts (10) of the handrail (3), so that the parts (10) in a normal case, lie in the working region of the sensor. An inductive proximity switch (11) is provided, which detects a tension reinforcement (10) of the handrail, and with a determined distance from the reinforcement (10), produces a fault signal.

Sei diesem Handlauf (3) wird die als Zugarmierung dienende Stahlseileinlage (10) mittels eines induktiven Näherungsschalters (11) detektiert. Wird der Handlauf (3) abgehoben, so vergrössert sich der vorher eingestellte Abstand des Näherungsschalters (11) zur Handlaufunterseite auf einen Abstand (x). Bei einem bestimmten Abstand des Näherungsschalters (11) von der Stahlseileinlage (10) des Handlaufes (3) erzeugt der Näherungsschalter (11) ein Fehlersignal, das von einer Steuerung ausgewertet wird. <IMAGE>
